University Programs Promoting Equality
I understand that this is a sensitive subject, but it is something that I feel I need to address and share my opinion on. To me, this is a sad subject more than a good one, because people come to this country to be treated equally, regardless of their skin color. Programs of equality, whether in schools or in the workforce, in the era that we are living in, should be obsolete. This is coming from someone who, meaning me, who technically has disabilities. I have always related to people of the minority in this country, because when you are different in this country, you are different. I feel that it doesn’t really matter what Congress does to help the minorities in this country; it may help a little bit, but not much. I can only imagine being somebody who is an indigenous person in this country with disabilities and the endeavors that they face every day. I have recently discovered that I am a descendant of the Cheroenhaka-Nottoway tribe chiefs and am extremely proud of this heritage. If you would like to see my lineage to my native ancestry, I will put a link to my family history website. People who are in charge of the hiring and the application process in schools need to be screened and validated to make sure that they are not racist. I personally believe that we should eliminate all of these programs. Watch the video below.
