Thank You To My Readers and SubStack
I knew that I could maybe make a little money from writing a blog on SubStack, and because of that, I would only check my profile every once in a blue moon. However, I recently checked it and I couldn’t believe it. After a year or so of writing, nobody was leaving any comments or even “hearting” my blogs, and I was about to throw in the towel. I told this to my wife, and she strongly disagreed with me. She said that would be a big mistake, and I said to her, “...well, what’s the point when nobody is leaving comments or even really reading it?” So I hunkered down, as my father used to say every once in a while, and kept writing, and my wife was right about the future of my blog. I never thought I would really be able to make money working from home, but now I am, and it is truly amazing. This could help people trying to make ends meet or people with disabilities. I gained about another thousand subscribers in a year. If you have 1,000 subscribers and you gave that blogger just one dollar, that one dollar goes a long way. This has inspired me to write twice a week from now on, and once again, thank you so much to Substack and to my readers for making this possible.
