Skateboarder With No Legs Does The Longest Hand Stand On Her Skateboard
Kanya Sesser, who has no legs, is a skateboarder and was just inducted into the Guinness World Records for doing the longest handstand on a skateboard without any legs. She was found on the side of a road in a town that is two hours away from Bangkok in Thailand by a couple who ended up adopting her. They took Kanya in after going through the authorities and brought her home. She was wrapped up, and when they unwrapped her, her new parents realized that she didn’t have any legs. That couple who first adopted her found another couple who adopted Kanya, who were perhaps just a little better off. She was adopted in May of 1998 by Jand and David Sessere (I’m not exactly sure how her parents spell her last name). They immigrated to America to Portland, Oregon, where she now drives herself around in her car. “Whether you have legs or you don’t have legs, I’m mean, I feel like we all have a type of disability in some ways, whether it’s mental or physical. But we all have challenges.” Be thankful for your health and what you have in life.
