E=∞2
Ever since I can remember, I have been interested in science and the magnificent creation of the universe. The first theory that we all learn about in science class is, of course, the Big Bang Theory. For the longest time, I have always wondered how it got that name; after science class and doing some of my own research, I figured it out. The Big Bang Theory got its name simply because the universe is expanding outwards; therefore, there had to be a big bang somewhere in the universe to help accelerate the expansion of the universe. However, there is always one classic question that this makes one ask: what created the Big Bang? One day, science may develop a new theory to answer this question. If I have learned anything about the creation of the universe, it is that there has always been some present energy and that something came from nothing.
Most of us have heard of Albert Einstein’s theory of E=mc2. Well, I’m not a physicist or even a scientist by any means, but I think I have come up with an equation that is even smaller and simpler than his answer to the universe: E=∞2. This equation, at least to me, says that energy is a force that has always been and always will be. Again, I’m no scientist, but it was Einstein himself who said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” I genuinely believe this because before there was knowledge, there was only imagination.
